“It is a wholesome and necessary thing for us to turn again to the earth and in the contemplation of her beauties to know the sense of wonder and humility.” – Rachel Carson. Join us for this 0.9 mile walk over rolling sand dunes in the Pine Bush. We will use our senses to explore the big and the small, the living and non-living and the seasonal surprises around us. We will use Rachel Carson as inspiration, taking in everything around us, searching for a sense of wonder. After reflecting in nature, join us in making a wish. This program meets inside the Discovery Center.

Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center
From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
